Additionally, Adobe has added a pdf conversion tool that will convert pdf files to HTML pages. You will find that resource at http://access.adobe.com/simple_form.html.

Adobe is aggressively addressing the need for accessibility. The newest version, Adobe Acrobat 5.0, has been on the market since April 2001. Adobe's analysis of Section 508 accessibility and their new Acrobat 5.0 can be found HERE in pdf format.

Another innovator in web technology, Macromedia, is attempting to provide assistance to those developing web pages that need to comply with Section 508. You may check their Accessibility Page for downloads that assist in making their software applications compliant with Section 508.
